Tanay Falls - Batlag and Daranak


So the gang decided to chill out and head to Rizal this time, because duh, puro nalang Laguna. Haha!


HOW TO GET HERE

 You may ride an FX with Tanay route, then alight at Tanay Public Market Transport Terminal and look for the tricycle terminal for Batlag/Daranak Falls. They should be easy to spot because the tricycle terminal is just beside the FX terminal.

That’s Php 200/trip, min/max of 4pax. (that DEPENDS on the driver; my friends went there, composed of 7pax, excluding the driver, and they managed to squeeze their butts in just 1 tric!)

Tricycle drivers will drop you off at the main entrance.


BATLAG FALLS ENTRANCE FEE:

Adults: P100
Children: P50

You’re gonna have to cross a hanging bridge, then start trekking on a cemented footpath which should take around 15 minutes.

True or Falls?

You’ll be surprised that the color of the falls is for real! This one is small but a deeper catch basin (around 15ft)


While this one is wider but shallow (around 6ft max, based on my height. Lol)

Cottages and tables are available, as you could also pitch a tent (for a fee, im just not sure)



And just a few minute walk from Batlag is Daranak falls.


Be advised that a separate entrance fee is collected if you go here in Daranak.

Go cliff diving in this enchanting falls, just on this side though. You wont be allowed to climb the rocks and jump from there, altho my friend did anyway 😁 just be prepared to get reprimanded.

Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa

Who's up for some fun?  Now I've been bugging my boyfriend for so many months for him to take me to this place.  I think this is seriously the best place to get wet on a valentines day *wink! wink!* Laresio offered a promo for Valentine's Day, and we took advantage of the "All Wet Activities" package. Altho we only went there a day after Vday, which was actually great, since the place wasnt that crowded, as it usually is. That day, we basically owned every spot we wanted (except for the rooms, of course). and so we had kayaking for warm up.. Kaya-queen! Hahaha and this trapeze (vine swing) is so much fun, it'll remind you of the good ol' days when you would sneak out of your house to join your friends sa tabing ilog. splash! the place also offers 2 cliff dive spots - 13 and 32 ft jump; the slip and dive slide, a water polo, basketball in the pool, a swing where you can jump straight to the lake, a balsa rafting, and a spot

Looc Bay Marine Refuge and Sanctuary

This sanctuary is a protected area opened back in January 1991 to help preserve and manage marine resources. Looc is from the Filipino word "look" (pronounced as lo-ok), which means "bay". It is located in Tablas Island, which is actually the largest among Romblon group of Islands. Here's our suggested itinerary, with day 1 coming from Romblon Island: READ:  Marble-lous Romblon DAY 2 TABLAS ISLAND 06:30am - 07:30am breakfast 07:30am - 08:45am boat ride from Romblon Port to San Agustin port Once you get to San Agustin port, you will be met by locals offering tours and transpo around Tablas Island. If you're planning to go DIY, you can wait for a jeepney bound for Looc, which will take more than 2hours since it's a public transport and cost you P100. Option 1 aka the cheaper option  08:45am - 09:00am wait for jeep headed to Odiongan, merienda (there are stores near the port) 10:50am - ETA Odiongan jeep terminal
